QHSE POLICY

The Management of Arab Udupi Group of Restaurants firmly believes in providing all customers, employees, other interested parties and anyone who may be affected by their activities with safe and high quality food, services and products. AUR is therefore; committed to comply with the applicable legal, ethical, professional and other requirements related to its scope of catering and restaurant facility to achieve its goals of zero food poisonings, zero accidents, zero equipment damage and zero environmental incidents or pollutions and it acknowledges that continual improvement of its performance is a key objective. However, it recognizes that despite its best efforts, some injuries and illnesses may occur. The fundamental expectations within our QHSE management system are:

  • We will work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • We will comply with our Company Management System and all applicable laws and regulations at all times.
  • We will conform to agree Customer requirements.
  • We will promote and maintain service quality and facilitate continuous improvement within each business process.
  • We will regularly establish and review objectives as part of our continuous improvement effort.
  • We will participate in developing action plans using Company approved processes.
  • We will participate in our START and THINK processes, and call a "Time Out for Safety" when necessary.
  • We will report and respond to all incidents of any kind.
  • We will conduct our business to limit adverse impact to the environment and prevent pollution.

It is the responsibility of each division’s manager to bring this policy statement to the attention of all department's employees. This policy will be subject to continuous review and revision on yearly bases particularly when changes to legislation or technical knowledge occur. This revision will be done by the senior management team, who take prime responsibility for allocating sufficient resources to ensure its aspirations are achieved.
